Persistent Campaign Crash on Steam (Cannot Complete Campaign)
Hello,
I am experiencing a persistent crash issue in Battlefield 6 on PC (Steam).
The game crashes to desktop consistently during Campaign mode, making the single-player campaign impossible to complete. Multiplayer runs normally, but the Campaign always crashes at the same progression point, preventing completion of the main story content.
Platform: PC (Steam)
OS: Windows 11 Pro 64-bit
PC Specifications:
- CPU: Intel Core i5-10400F
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB
- RAM: 16GB DDR4 (2x8GB) 3200MHz
- Storage: NVMe SSD 1TB + HDD 1TB
- Motherboard: ASUS Prime H510M-K R2.0
- PSU: 650W 80+ Gold
Issue Details:
- Game Mode affected: Campaign (Single Player)
- Issue type: Crash to Desktop (no error message)
- Occurs repeatedly at the same point in the campaign
Troubleshooting already attempted:
- Verified game files via Steam
- Full game reinstallation
- Updated NVIDIA GPU drivers
- Disabled Steam & EA App overlays
- Reset graphics settings to low
- Tried different launch options (DX11 / safe mode)
- Windows fully updated
The issue persists despite all of the above steps.
Steam Support declined a refund due to policy limits, so I am reporting this as a technical issue with the game. Since Campaign is a core advertised feature, this crash makes the product partially non-functional.
If required, I can provide crash logs, DxDiag, or additional system information.
