I have the same issue and it really stinks. I bought the game specifically to use the portal experience, EA said we could purchase it on Steam. I proceeded to give EA money, we all did.
"Battlefield Portal is a massive sandbox where creators and players can push Battlefield to the limit. "
So far all I have access to are COD game constructs and match making. Where the hell is the sandbox part of the deal EA?
