I'm posting this because I've reached a dead end with support and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar.
During Season 2, I completed the Battle Pass and noticed that I was missing BF Coins that should have been awarded through progression. Because of the missing coins, I was unable to accumulate the amount needed for the next Battle Pass.
I contacted support as soon as I realized there was an issue. An investigation was opened(allegedly) and was never updated.
I decided to contact support again and they informed me that they had previously investigated the case and determined that the final 200 BF Coins had been credited to my account. The problem is that even if those 200 coins were eventually credited, my balance still did not add up to what I should have had after completing the Battle Pass. I never spent any BF Coins during that period, yet I still ended up short of the amount needed.
When I asked for a review of my BF Coin transaction history so we could determine where the discrepancy occurred, support told me they can no longer access data older than 30 days. Their position is essentially that no further investigation can be performed because too much time has passed.
What frustrates me most is that I reported the issue when it happened, followed the proper process, and waited for support to investigate. Now I'm being told that because so much time has passed, the data can no longer be reviewed and the issue can't be resolved. That's incredibly disappointing.
To be honest, I haven't played the game since I realized this happened. I've supported EA and Battlefield for well over 10 years, and seeing an issue like this go unresolved after doing everything I was supposed to do has completely killed my motivation to come back. At this point, it sadly feels like I may not be playing Battlefield anymore.
Has anyone else dealt with missing Battle Pass rewards or BF Coins and actually gotten it resolved? I'd appreciate any advice, and I'm hoping someone from the support team or community management team can take another look at this.
