I can't connect to Battlefield 6. Every time I try, I get a connection error message with this code: Connection failed, error code: 1:86001S:66003S:4688822970:0B.
I've tried restarting the game and network, using a VPN, changing my EA account, DNS, ports, clearing my balance, and disconnecting USB ports. Although I haven't done anything since the game was released, the issue persists. Please provide me with instructions to resolve this issue.
I'm experiencing the EXACT same error code (1:86001S:66003S:468882297O:0B) since October 9th purchase on Steam.
Can confirm this is NOT client-side:
- Verified all game files (100%)
- Repaired EAAntiCheat
- Changed DNS to 8.8.8.8
- Cleared EA App cache
- Disabled firewall/antivirus
- Tried everything mentioned in this thread
EA Support Case #225201907 opened and escalated to backend authentication team. They confirmed it's an EA backend bug affecting Steam players specifically.
The issue is with EA server authentication rejecting properly linked Steam-EA accounts. No amount of local troubleshooting will fix this - it requires EA backend team intervention.
I've been told to monitor this forum thread for official EA/DICE response and updates via social channels.
Requesting EA official acknowledgment and timeline for fix. Multiple Steam players affected since launch.

Hey, is there any chance you could ask the EA Support Advisors for an ETA? It has been 4 full days with no updates and all my tickets have gone straight to bots.

have you tried downloading cloudflare 1.1.1.1 and enabling it?

Same here. I've held off on refunding because I've been hoping they would do or at least say something, but I'm to the point now where it feels a bit ridiculous. We're 12 days out from the release of a game I paid $100 for, and I still can't access it...
