ISSUE DESCRIPTION:
Unable to connect to EA servers since purchase. Game launches successfully from Steam but fails during EA server authentication with error code 1:86001S:66003S:468882297O:0B.
Steam-EA Account properly linked and verified at ea.com/account/connections.
TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED (ALL FAILED):
✓ Game files verified via Steam (100% validated, 3 corrupted files repaired)
✓ EAAntiCheat repaired as administrator
✓ DNS changed to 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4
✓ EA App cache completely cleared
✓ Firewall/antivirus disabled for testing
✓ Game moved to C: drive (from external)
✓ All DLC disabled
✓ Multiple PC/router restarts
✓ Tested with VPN disabled
✓ All standard troubleshooting solutions attempted
EA SUPPORT HISTORY:
- Case #225201907 opened October 13, 2025
- Escalated to backend authentication team
- Confirmed as EA backend bug affecting Steam players
- Reported to technical team for investigation
CONCLUSION:
This is NOT a client-side issue. EA backend authentication servers are rejecting Steam player connections despite proper account linking. Multiple players reporting identical error code.
