Community ManagerWhat exactly is happening when you crash? Is the game closing and taking you back to the dashboard?
I understand it may look clean and well ventilated, but have you opened the console and cleaned it out? After 3 - 4 years, there's probably a pretty good buildup of dust inside.
I'm having the same issue, and many other players are posting about this issue. It's been happening since the recent major update. The game randomly hangs with no error, and will eventually crash to the Xbox dashboard. Seems to happen mainly during RedSec matches, but has happened while in lobby, in multiplayer matches, etc. This hanging is especially egregious in ranked matches, as you lose your entry fee each time this happens. It's frustrating that updates like this aren't play tested before release.

This has nothing to do with anyone's console. Every single person I run into that has a mic in multiplayer is experiencing this broken, crashed out game. It's happening every game in battle royal quads after taking 10-15 minutes to find a game.
Must just be xbox as I've had no issues on ps5 for about 1 month, even the bright light issue in redsec hasn't happened
