Constant Disconnects: Error Code 0:85009S
Hello everyone,
I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing a persistent issue that I haven't been able to resolve. I’ve followed the troubleshooting steps provided by the CM to user fwulii13, but the problem persists.
The Context: My wife and I play together, both connected via ethernet cable to a brand-new switch. Interestingly, she has no issues at all, while I get kicked every 5 minutes (or less) with Error Code 0:85009S. I have even tested playing alone with her PC completely powered off, but I still get disconnected.
My Setup & Troubleshooting:
- OS: Fresh install of Windows 11.
- Software: Minimal setup (Brave, Discord, EA App, and BF6 only).
- Security: Secure Boot, TPM, and Memory Integrity are all Enabled.
- Steps Taken: Full reinstall of the game and EA App.
- Manual uninstallation of Anti-Cheat (AC) to let the game reinstall it from scratch.
- Performed a Clean Boot, enabling only EA-related services.
I’m honestly exhausted. Since my wife’s PC works perfectly on the same network, it seems to be something specific to my machine's interaction with the game or the Anti-Cheat, despite the clean OS install.
Does anyone have any insight into what 0:85009S actually points to? Any help would be a lifesaver.
