Air Assault - Too Difficult to Tell Vertical Minimum Height Boundary

It's too difficult to tell what the vertical minimum height boundary is in air assault. Right now, the screen just goes dark when you're out of bounds in the vertical direction.

Sometimes I make a sharp dive to out maneuver an enemy pilot, but end up having to climb and die for desertion.

I understand that it's difficult to place that info on the map since the boundary overlays directly atop the in bounds map. But, at least give us more time to get back in bounds.

I'm already getting pissed off with it... I guess I'm just not a pilot.

Thanks for the feedback, personally I'm with you on this.

I noticed this myself when trying to fly low, I was punished for trying to be too sneaky I always got back in bounds, but it was tight a couple of times.

at the moment you only see a bar next to the minimap which shows your height, however it isn't useful in my opinion because most of the time you are focussing on outmaneuvering your attacker.

they could make a warning when you're 25m away from the border for example. a pre-warning could help.
