Battlefeild 3 DirectX error. [PC]
Battlefield 3 worked fine for a couple of weeks after I installed it. I got the PC digital download. After about 2 months of playing it. I sstarted getting the problem. The problem was that whenever I tried playing a round of Battlefield in any map the textures went crazy and then my game crashed. It gives me a directX error about bad drivers with my GTX 650 graphics card. After I get that crash I cannot play Battlefield 3 unless I restart my computer. After a lot of searching I decided to reinstall Battlefield 3. Now that I have uninstalled it and re-downloaded it successfully, the new problem is can't install it! After restarting my computer I can open origin and right click on Battlefield 3 and click install. It seems to install fine, but it doesn't give me a progress bar. If I right click on the game in the My Games section "pause install" and "cancel install" both are greyed out (I can't click them.) Origin seemed to be responding right, so I kept up the install for 3 days! After those 3 long days of waiting I looked at it and it seemed as if NOTHING had happened. I'm EXTREMELY frusterated with this, and would just like to get Battlefield 3 working properly again. If this glitch continues onto Battlefield 4 (which I have pre-ordered) I want a refund. But I really would like to just be able to play the freaking game again! I also would like to continue recording Battlefield 3 for my youtube channel, but I can't, which is upsetting my subscriebers. Please help me fix this in the FASTEST manner possible. Thanks in advance -TheRabidPigeon
