"It pays to document before purchasing something. When it comes to EA and Ubisoft, the safest way is to go for the mose expensive version"
I did.... Nothing else was available and it didn't say weapons would be excluded. Thanks for the heads up. If I could return the game I would. Another $49.99 would bring my total to $130? It's not that I don't have the money, it's the principle tbh. Not to mention with all the negative press I would have thought I heard something like this for BF1 too.
@BlackMosquitoe the information was available, until they've changed the editions. The Origin store has in most cases a presentation of all the editions
An example:
https://www.origin.com/irl/en-us/store/battlefield/battlefield-hardline/ultimate-edition
As you can see the Deluxe Edition doesn't include the Premium Pass in Hardline, either. Same happened with BF4, before that.

As EA changed the editions, only BF1 Standard and Revolution are available in their digital store. And it looks like the Revolution now includes the pre-order packs, too, which makes it the equivalent of the Ultimate Edition.

I thought responded... Let me do it again quickly...

I pre-ordered it in 06-04-2016, they came out with the ultimate in Oct 13 2016(?) If you advertise A and B tier of your product, don't come out 6 months or w.e later and introduce A B C without telling your people who bought it that a third of the items in that game are missing. It's not DLC or Expansion... It shouldn't constitute an additional cost... Maybe that's what all the people are trying to tell EA now. After almost 3 decades of buying games from them they'd value that concern.

When I pre-ordered they had all three options. Not sure what you mean. BF1 had a real early pre-order.

Triple A games shouldn't have a $140 tag on them.... That's greedy and obnoxious. GTA V made over a billion dollars and you got the whole game in the box, that sold for 49.95-59.95... This is just shenanigans. Hence probably why their stock is down and people are furious with the company.
