Battlefield 1 CTE service assignments?

So recently I have signed up and downloaded Battlefield 1's CTE for Xbox 1. I see that there is a tab called 'Service assignments" however I cant get to it JUST by clicking my right bumper. I have to click my right bumper over to multiplayer, then click right trigger to bring up my friends list, close that, and then I am able to click right bumper to get to the tab. However once I am there it is blank. There is also an option at the bottom for me to click Y labeled 'specializations', but when I do this it tells me(and I quote): "You can not access this screen from Battlefield 1 CTE. To access this screen, please switch to Battlefield 1 CTE." It then gives me an option to click A which is labeled 'Ok' or I can click Y which is labeled 'Buy Battlefield 1 CTE'. When I click Y however it brings me to the home tab and gives me a blank screen. Anyone know if this is how it is supposed to be like? Or is something wrong? I was really looking forward to participating in this but it seems to me that I don't have access to the full thing and idk why. Any help is appreciated.
