Battlefield 1 "Ghost License" – Library shows "Owned" but Download is greyed out
Hi everyone,
I am reaching out because I have run into a frustrating license loop with Battlefield 1. I have been a loyal EA member since 2010 and have over 2,000 hours of playtime in BF1, but I can no longer access the game.
The Issue:
- My EA App library shows Battlefield 1 Standard Edition Owned, but the Download button is greyed out and inactive.
- I previously played via an EA Play subscription which ended in September 2024.
- Because the app thinks I already own the game, it will not let me purchase a permanent license or download it.
- I have already tried clearing the EA App cache and uninstalling the Steam version, but nothing works.
I do not want to lose my progress and 2,000+ hours of stats. Could a Community Manager please help me refresh my account entitlements or clear this ghost license so I can regain access?
