Battlefield 1: The DDoS Crisis and the Lack of Server Rental Options

Battlefield 1 is still one of the most beloved games in the Battlefield franchise, with a dedicated community that continues to enjoy its unique gameplay and large-scale battles. However, the game is facing serious problems that are negatively affecting the player experience, particularly DDoS attacks and the lack of accessible server rental options.

The Growing Problem of DDoS Attacks

One of the biggest challenges facing Battlefield 1 players is the increasing number of DDoS attacks targeting game servers. These attacks cause severe lag, connection interruptions, high latency, and sometimes complete server disconnections.

This situation makes it extremely difficult for players to enjoy a stable and fair gaming experience. It is especially frustrating when entire matches are disrupted by malicious individuals who exploit these attacks without facing any apparent consequences.

The Lack of Server Rental Options

Another major issue is the inability to easily rent and manage private servers, especially in regions such as the Middle East.

Players who want to create dedicated servers, control their gaming environment, and protect their communities have very limited options.

The lack of accessible server rental services prevents communities from establishing stable regional servers with reliable connections and proper administration.

For Middle Eastern players, the situation is even more disappointing due to the limited availability of regional servers, forcing many players to connect to European servers and experience higher latency.

What We Are Asking EA and DICE to Do

We strongly encourage EA and DICE to consider the following improvements:

  1. Strengthen server protection against DDoS attacks.
  2. Provide accessible server rental options through external hosting providers.
  3. Restore or improve dedicated server management capabilities.
  4. Expand server availability in the Middle East.
  5. Give communities more control over their servers and administration.

Final Thoughts

Battlefield 1 deserves better server infrastructure and stronger protection against malicious attacks.

The community is still active, and many players are willing to invest in renting and maintaining their own servers. However, without proper support from EA and DICE, the gaming experience will continue to suffer.

We are not asking for new content or major gameplay changes. We are simply asking for stable servers, protection against DDoS attacks, and the freedom to rent and manage our own servers.

Please listen to the Battlefield 1 community. We want to keep this game alive.
