I need help getting this game to open. I believe I got the game stuck in direct 12. When lauching the game the load screen pops up. After it close and the EA App opens. The game never actually loads ...

It sounds like the Battlefield 1 save file might be corrupt.
Move the Battlefield 1 folder out of Documents. This will reset the game to it's default settings and all single player progress will be lost.
Keep a backup of the Battlefield 1 folder just in case you need it.
