Battlefield 1942 Patches says "battlefield 1942 not found"

what version of bf1942 do you have cd or origin ?

if you got  origin  you only need to patch the master server. link  http://team-simple.org/download/battlefield_1942_gamespy_patch_v1.61.exe

if you got  cd version  my patch up  pack  should work so you probably installed your bf1942 wrong

lets see if your cd rom  game is installed good

press start on windows

type in search : regedit

open regedit.exe

now look for  the battlefield 1942  registry see path below

on 64 bit windows  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942

or

on 32 bit windows  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942

open  GAMEDIR

you see the installed path of battlefield1942  this can be

on 64 bit windows  C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942

or

 on 32 bit windows C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942

now look up the path see if you have at least the following files bf1942.exe   folders named mods  and movies  it will look some what like what i got on this screenshot

what you mean by drag and drop that you just copy folders and not use a cd rom disk at all  ?

if that so well there lot of keys  you dont have now and that means it wont work unless you have the disk

if you lost your cds i can give iso files or bf1942 full hd installer

Can you please provide me with both links for iso files and bf1942 full hd installer?

If yes can you provide me them to a link in mediafire if not any other website will be ok.

before you install your new bf1942 first

remove your old bf1942 by uninstaller if that still works!

if it does not work do manually uninstall of bf1942.

manually uninstall  guide

remove the folder named Battlefield 1942

in C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES

remove shotcuts  on desktop

remove alllprograms menu of bf1942

press start copy paste this in search 

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

open ea games and remove Battlefield 1942

i know it's a lot of work ☹️ but now the hard stuff.

press start

open regedit.exe

and go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA GAMES

and remove Battlefield 1942

now press edit on top of regedit.

now press  search.

now  search for 698D7E61-E4BF-4CA6-8A09-CF6BDBFDEF65

the file is in

on 32 bit windows HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

or

on 64bit windows  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

make sure !! the key is from bf1942 check the DisplayName  it will say Battlefield 1942 (see screenshot)

if you are sure!  delete 698D7E61-E4BF-4CA6-8A09-CF6BDBFDEF65

now go to

on 32bit windows HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Electronic Arts\EA Games\

or

on 64bit windows  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\

delete Battlefield 1942

you now fully uninstalled bf1942 manually 

(if you cant find all registry keys you can try to skip and see if a reinstall works )

you can get bf1942 2 ways

do the full hd installer you dont need a cd key for this its full auto install  but it looks different from the Original bf1942 hd skin packs 🙂

i cant upload iso files to google drive  they will remove it  and i only use trusted no ads file hosts so you can download only real files

Dear emile44,

I did like you told me a full manual uninstall and installed your battlefield 1942 hd installer and installed the game. Then I successfully applied the two patches 1.6.19 and 1.6 to 1.61 but when I try to apply the patch battlefield 1942 gamespy patch v1.61 I get an error "No Battlefield".

Can you please help me again or tell me what can I do or delete (maybe a windows update is causing this to happen).

you just installed the all in patch up pack on hd bf1942 ? i made that all in one patch up pack for cd versions only ! cd is version 1.0 ☹️ so thats why first patch is 274 mb big when you are on 1.0  you need too patch up maps pb and more.

the bf1942 hd installer you just  download is  already fully patch up all you need was the gamespy patch in that pack.

so uninstall  bf1942 hd   and

reinstall again

and this time just use gamespy patch read the INSTALL_INSTRUCTIONS.txt inside hd bf1942 installer 😉
