Battlefield 3 Limited Edition Online Pass PS3

Here's the problem. I bought a used copy of Battlefield 3 Limited Edition for PS3. I have played a regular version of the game prior to buying the Limited Edition, but I deleted it before installing the Limited Edition version. When I started multiplayer, I got a chance to download a free online pass (I don't think that the online pass code came with the game, I can't find it anywhere). Yet I can't access the Back to Karkand expansion pack (it should be free from the PSN store, but it isn't). Turns out the reason I can't download the B2K expansion pack is because the online pass that I downloaded is for the regular version, not for the Limited Edition version.

Anybody knows what should I do to download the B2K expansion for free?

    You cannot get it for free without the code included with the game. Even if the code was included, it was most likely already used already considering the game was used. The online pass is not how you get Back to Karkand for free, the limited edition code is.

    You would have to contact the place you purchased the game from to get a new copy of the limited edition game with an un-used code.

    Apollo is correct, the BF3 Limited Edition was only available during the first run pressing during 2011, so since you stated that you purchased a used copy of the game the original owner redeemed the LE online pass code.In short you will have to purchase B2K if you want to play this expansion since the B2K entitlement is tied to the LE Online pass and not to the game disc.

    similar problem. I did buy the game new tho. i used the code but then my console died and i had to buy a new one. on the new console i do not have back to Karkand and because i used the code on the old one the code does not work now. i feel like since i did buy the game new i am entitled the the expansion pack. is there a way i can recieve this with no further cost to me?
