Battlefield 4 app problems

The app for apple is NOT working.... Before the down load the app work perfectly, now it says that their are not any servers for Paracel storm. Also when you try to join of of the multiplayer from the apple app it tells you that it doesn't support the version that you have. What is going on. The download that came out on nov 21 sucks and makes me want to trade in this game. What is going to be done about this or is that a ploy by EA and dice to get more money because I have to update to Xbox one in order for it to work. What a waste of $130.00 for the game an to upgrade to premium.
