First day of gaming was fine with crashes, only 2 or 3...Now day 2 and im crashing every few minutes, sometimes seconds in game. Game Freezes and have to use task manager to force close BF4. I finally got an error message.
My Rig:

Driver: 331.65
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3350P CPU @ 3.10GHz
Memory: 8.00 GB Ram
Resolution: 1920x1080, 60Hz, HDMI
OS: Windows 8

Error Message: DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ("The application's device failed due to badly formed commands sent by the application. This is an design-time issue that should be investigated and fixed.") GPU: "NVIDEA GeForce GTX 660 ", Driver: 33165
I'm getting pretty much the same error. Although I'm on a Razer Blade with switchable graphics and I'm getting the DirectX error about the integrated Intel card..

Can anyone else check their event logs and let me know if you get a VRAM report?
I have a feeling this is a VRAM issue, that is why it takes a minute to error-out. Shanghai China crashes quickly because it has so much going on......memory leak?
This is what I had:
Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-Diagnostics-Performance/Operational
Source: Microsoft-Windows-Diagnostics-Performance
Date: 10/29/2013 2:38:00 PM
Event ID: 500
Task Category: Desktop Window Manager Monitoring
Level: Warning
Keywords: Event Log
User: LOCAL SERVICE
Description:
The Desktop Window Manager is experiencing heavy resource contention.
Scenario : Video memory resources are over-utilized and there is thrashing happening as a result. Reducing number of running programs and open windows may help resolve this condition.
