I found this on the following website: http://guide4games.net/battlefield-4-pc-crashes-multiplayer-issues-performance-freezes-fixes/
Battlefield 4 Crashes or Freezes during Gameplay
During multiplayer or online gameplay of Battlefield 4, the random crashes and freezes are very common problems. Apply below solutions to fix the issue.
For Windows 7 or Vista Users:
- Open command prompt by run as administrator
- Type bcdedit /set increaseuserva 2500 and press enter
- Now restart your machine
I will try it and report back

Game has been crashing on me randomly as well. It's starting to get very irritating. Sometimes I can only play for a few minutes and other times I can finish a round. WTF is going on EA/DICE? We are not spending all this money including this premium stuff to have all these issues.

uhm nooo!
BCDEdit /set
The BCDEdit /set command sets a boot entry option value in the Windows boot configuration data store (BCD) for Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2012 R2. Use the BCDEdit /set command to configure specific boot entry elements, such as kernel debugger settings, memory options, or options that enable test-signed kernel-mode code or load alternate hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and kernel files. To remove a boot entry option, use the BCDEdit /deletevalue command.
Caution Administrative privileges are required to use BCDEdit to modify BCD. Changing some boot entry options using the BCDEdit /set command could render your computer inoperable. As an alternative, use the System Configuration utility (MSConfig.exe) to change boot settings.

Do not do that.. who ever is suggesting that as a fix is talking out their ars...

The only fix for me was to restore windows to a previous time. Luckily I had one on restore date on the 26th. After i restored windows I installed nividia 331.58 drivers instead of the newest.
BF4 was working perfectly fine for me until I updated so it was either the patch or the newest nvidia drivers that corrupted my system.
