Battlefield Legacy - Sunsetting Announcement for Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3.

Hello there,

On Wednesday, July 31st the following titles will be removed from digital storefronts and you will no longer be able to purchase them and all extra related content such as DLC.

  • Battlefield 3 (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)

  • Battlefield 4 (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)

  • Battlefield: Hardline (Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)

Online services for these titles on these platforms will end on November 7th, 2024. While the online components of these titles close for these platforms, if you own the game, you will still be able to play the single-player component.

Please note: Battlefield 3 will still be available for play on PC. Battlefield 4, and Battlefield: Hardline will still be available for play on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The announcement today does not affect these titles and platforms.

If you'd like to learn more about the sunsetting process you can refer to the FAQ here, or check out our delisting page here.

If you have any questions about these titles on older platforms head on over to EA Help.

Thank you for your understanding!

Fingers crossed they re release a lot of those maps as free DLC for its fans. The Dragon Rising BF4 and Aftermath BF3 maps were fantastic. Theyre in the map making business...

  • As these older versions of BF are sunsetting, can we get more or the pre BF4 maps added to the Portal? Many of us have been playing this game for two decades now and would enjoy a mix of maps from the previous releases. In the least...those maps that repeatedly found their way into the DLC of most versions throughout the years, ie. Wake Island.
