Forum Discussion
Hey @Oustor,
Thanks for your visit to the forums & sorry to hear that you're having some very odd disconnection issues with Battlefield games!
Because you mention that no other EA games show any issues and that other family members of your household are not experiencing issues while being on the same network, this allows me to believe that it could be something on your console itself.
Can you please tell me what your NAT type is and see what the PlayStation internet connection test shows you?
Turn on your PS5.
Go to Settings.
Select Network.
Under Connection Status, select View Connection Status.
There you should also be able to test your connection by selecting Test Internet Connection.
P.S. I saw that you posted the same post on different forums boards, please do not do that in the future. Don't worry, we and other players will see your post. 😉

HI, and thanks for reaching out 🙂
When i test my internet connection I get:
IP adress: Successful
Internet connection: Successful
Playstation network sign-in: Successful
NAT type: Type 2
Connection speed (Download): 72.3 mpbs
Connection speed (Upload): 19.7 mbps
Do you see any unusual here?
I tried to change my DNS as well, but still I dont get connected.
Sorry for spamming in the other boards, in desperate needs before the new game. It wont happen again 😉

@Oustor, thanks for the info. All looks pretty good to me.
Can you please check if something of the following steps fork for you?
1) hard reset your console, press the power button until the PS5 system beeps twice to turn the system off.
2) check that your PS+ is not expired and that the account your using is an 'adult' account.
3) at the title screen for the game, log out of your profile and then log back in
4) delete then reinstall the Battlefield games from your console
