I encountered a problem to which I haven't found a solution anywhere yet.I go to Battlelog and I see the blue arrow on the top, indicating an update. I click on it, and in Firefox I can download the file, in Internet-Explorer it won't do anything. In Firefox, after running the downloaded files... nothing happesn, I press on the "x" of the message on the bottom left with the instructions on how to update. When I try to join a server it says I need to update.... which I already have done about 10 times.Is there any way to solve this?Thank you

Hi there, We are currently aware of that IE9 and 10 are not downloading the latest Battlelog plugin automatically after clicking on "Download". As a workaround, please right-click on "Download again" and choose "Save file as...". You can also download the file manually from here: http://battlelog-cdn.battlefield.com/public/download/battlelog-web-plugins_2.1.3_109.exe Then navigate to your download folder and double click the installer. This should update your Battlelog plugin for all installed browsers. Please let us know how it goes. Thanks.

ESN Sonar API 0.70.4 is part of the Battlelog Web Plugin installer. Have you tried Battlelog with a different browser? Also, make sure that you are running the installer file with administrative permissions, otherwise the installation might fail.

I use firefox and everytime I download the plugin successfully even after restarting my browser and computer it still thinks that I haven't downloaded it... I am getting really frustrated with this. I need help please.

Try using Chrome as your web browser. Also I was having a similar problem a while ago and figured out that I had a required plugin disabled. So make sure that you have esn launcher plugin enabled.

Some players have some problems to download the latest plug-in/update.
Clear all web cache, restart your computer and reboot. It should work again. If the problem persists, please come back here again.

Hi hellknightfire,

If you are asked to install the plugin again after restarting your browser or refreshing the Battlelog tab, it's most likely that the required plugins are not enabled (or that you've installed an outdated version). Please check that the browser plugin is enabled in Firefox. To do so, please click on Addons in the menu, then select Plugins. Make sure that ESN Launch Mozilla Plugin 2.1.3.0 as well as ESN Sonar API 0.70.4 are enabled.

One other thing i'd like to mention is that I got a spam of Es launcher 6 or whatever it is and I am guessing that is from the DDOS attacks occuring with EA? Sent me like 250 error messages...

Where do you get that spam? I would suggest completely uninstalling and re-installing the browser plugin. Seems like there is something messed up.

Close all open browser windows, open "Uninstall a program" within Window's control panel then uninstall "Battlelog Web Plugins". Afterwards please check if C:\Program Files (x86)\Battlelog Web Plugins was removed completely. Then open Battlelog and download/install the latest web plugin setup file again. Reload your browser window and check if Battlelog recognizes the plugin, if not, take another look at the plugins for Firefox.

You could also try it with another browser temporarily, to check if it's a general issue or just something regarding Firefox.
