There are no error messages. It just pops up the screen that says "no signal, make sure proper input is selected" etc.
This is on windows 10.
I don't get this issue with Crysis 3 or World of Warships.

EA Staff (Retired)This issue seems to be caused by your GPU downcloking. This is an AMD specific problem with some games under Windows 10. I would advice you to dig deeper on this issue on AMD official forum https://community.amd.com/. Let me know, should you discover the solution there 😉

@EA_Archi I got my hands on a better video card in a Club 3D Royal King Radeon HD 7950 3GB. Loaded up the game on ultra settings & played a bit. Then I got a dx error.

So you were able to run the game, right? As for this error, have you wiped the old drivers clean, before installing a fresh set for your new GPU?

Yes, I ran the Display Driver Uninstaller aka DDU while in same mode.
