There is a workaround!!!!!
BF4 seems to have big problems with Hyperthreading and more than 4 processes at a time. To work around that issue, with AMD go into the BIOS and deactivate 3 cores by switching the "Core Control" to "1 core per CU" .. after that I have 40 fps without any framedrops, even without having the BF4-Beta-Drivers installed.
With Intel it should get fixed by deactivating the "Hyperthreading"-option in the BIOS of your motherboard, but I couldn't test that.

I've got the exact same issue with an i5-2500k, 8GB Ram, GTX560 and 8GB RAM.
Tried everything - all Win7 updates installed - Nvidia Beta drivers (as recommended) installed but it just lags right from the loading screen through to the menus. A buddy has a very similar setup with no issues however.
