I dont think the speed matters, in my case driving in zigzag pattern avoiding the shots did the trick. After that, as you lean out of the car. target the base of the helicopter blades(or whatever that spinning thing on the top of a choppa is called), and aim fast, shoot as soon as you see the gunpoint reappear. Hope that helps 🙂

Do you die Litterally as you come out of the tunnel or a little while after when it starts shooting at you? (the former was a known issue though incredibly rare and difficult to reproduce.)
I did exactly what you said and the grenade hit where it was supposed to. It hit where the pilot was but still didn't get rid of the helicopter! That made me really mad!
I'm on hard, and I keep hitting where you say, yet it still won't do anything!
