I have not reinstalled, would I have to redownload it from PSN? The snow screen is accessed right after the game prompts you to hit the options button.

No, your multiplayer progress is stored on DICE's stat servers and not on your local machine. You'll only be uninstalling the installation data and not your save data so your single player progress should also be unaffected.
So say I go into the PS4 settings delete the game from there, redownload it from PSN. That is the course of action you guys are suggesting? Is it possible that the game got corupted on the hard drive?
