As the title says.Some other games have done it, which I wont mention here but everyone knows them.I would like to see this implemented very much, since cross play is even a bigger thing now it just makes sense.I played BFBC2 in Pc and then due to friends migrating to console platform I came along but FpS on M&K its just better for me.I play COD Mw with M&K on Ps5 and i can tell that M&K its not an advantage (at least in my hands).COD has done it pretty well in my opinion and the option is there so we can choose.What do you guys think?

Lets equally hope then that PunkBuster, VAC, Battleye and the whole army of anti cheats are enabled from Day 0, to take good care of all those MnK peddlers. :o)

BFV didn't have native support when it came to M&K so it'll be interesting to see what thry do with BF6 - Of course, we'll know more when they finally do decide to share.As for if it offers an advantage or not, well, I believe it all depends on the type of game you're playing. Sniping in general would be a night and day difference with a mouse compared to controller - the ability to fine adjust your aim is obvious

@BaabbasIf using M’n’K creates an advantage towards people using a controller, I’m totally against it.

Btw. it’s no big deal learning how to use a controller, even when you’re used to M’n’K. I know this because I just did so, switching from PC gaming to console.

I ll assume you haven't played cod lately.
There you can choose the input method controller or m&k and it will display as such in the lobby (and scoreboard if I recall).
I can tell you that in a 10 lobbies of 10 players you will find more or less 5 to 15 m&o players the rest are controllers.
Having option to choose is always better than being forced to 1 thing.
Not everyone is able to buy a pc especially ATM, and being forced to play on a console with hardware outdated and with an input method which is not the ideal for some it's kind of a let down.

@VOLBANKER_PC Some ppl have advantage with a controller over ppl with m&k, and some ppl are just better than others in shooters period.
As time goes by we all need to accept it (ahhaahhahhh, I no longer have the reflexes of a twitchy 16 y.o.)
But in cod if I choose to play with M&K the controller AimBot will be turned off
Which is a big deal, believe me.

@Trokey66 I don't get why it would be cheating on next gen consoles when everyone will have the choice of input device. If you prefer m&k you choose that, if you prefer joypad, you use that. If m&k is 'better' then just plug one in and away you go. Simples! The one caveat id have with that is if for some reason only expensive PS5 only m&k were the only ones people could use.

Yes, mouse and keyboard support, but controller and mouse lobbies should be separated. With no aim assist in mouse lobbies 😂
That would be ideal but I don't know if there'd be enough players to fill 128 player servers and Battle Royale modes.
It's likely DICE is going to try cramming everybody together in order to fill the servers.

From a business standpoint you would expect the next installment to have native mouse & keyboard support for all available platforms. It could be taken as a warning sign to investors of the internal structure of Electronic Arts, if it doesn't.

I say it's a warning sign for a couple of reasons.

One marketing. It would be odd to try to market to the same audience as Call of Duty, but then offer less features.

Second, Usability. It would be odd to drive more to your product, but your product doesn't offer the support for specific players' needs.

Third, Required skills to implement. If the team/s behind the project don't have the required skills to implement said support, it could be taken as a warning sign from investors.

We are past consoles only supporting controllers, and we are long past personal computers only supporting mouse & keyboard.

On a more personal note. Having mouse & keyboard native support should help alleviate the ever growing presence of 3rd party devices like the Cronus-Max / Zen.

It's simple really, the control one gains by using the the entire arm and hand on a mouse is far superior that using just your thumb on a joystick.
To move right for example, is just one movement for a mouse to the right.
With a joystick, it requires a movement right but then a movement left back to centre.
M&K can still use scripts.
For such an anti Aim Assist advocate, I'm surprised that you support a superior aiming device, bizarre.....
