BF6 skipping PS4 and Xbox One. Is that a bad thing?

So will Battlefield 6 skip PS4 and Xbox One and release only on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC?    And is that not necessarily a bad thing?   The total lack of confirmation about the game's release...
