@CM - I want to play BF1 in VR by using VorpX but i dont wanna risk a Ban

Dear Sir and Madam,

i own a programm called VorpX which can be used to play nearly every game in VR and wanted to start to develop a VR Profile for Battlefield 1. Unfortinatly im too scared to recive a FairFight strike untill i am reciving green light by a Community Manager.

So the question to the community Manager is can i use this programm to make Battlefield 1 VR compatible whithout getting banned?

Thanks for the reply

Best Regards

Now that you've further explained what the program can do, I personally think it's a risk that you shouldn't take.

Any program that performs actions for you, such as moving the mouse (similar to what an aimbot does) isn't allowed and could potentially cause a ban on your account.

I can't really give you a clearer answer as I'm not familiar with this program. But seeing as it can perform functions that are not allowed, I would vote against it.

    Kind regards,

  • Hy there, @L1ghtb1rd 🙂

I think no one of the CM's here in the AnswerHQ Forum is in the position to give you the OK for it or not.

But i'll tag @Straatford87 at first, maybe he can share a Link or tell you something else what you need to do or where to ask for it.

This Forum here is a Player Based forum, that means just players try to help other players with issues on their EA games.(Battlefield 1 in this section)

Also CM's are around here, but i think they'r just for this Forum. And so i think they can't give you the "OK" by themself. Probably tell you who you can ask, or share a Link where to go.

Personally, I do not see how using VR/VorpX could trigger any action or ban against your account.

  • @EA_Barrythanks for the Reply. That driver controls the mouse on VR incompatible games simultaneously to your headtracking and also moves the HUD closer to the middle to make it visible in the HuD. In some engines VorpX scans the geomitry, that means the discances between objects to improove 3D and enable position tracking. It also marks the .exe as VR application.

I am worried because of the scan and HuD change feature, thats why i am asking.

    Thanks for the anser.
