Hey Everyone,
I had this issue after coming back from a long hiatus of BF3. I was able to fix it by doing the following:
- Shut down MSI Afterburner (or whatever OSD (On Screen Display) software you use like EVGA Precision)
- Uninstalled MSI Afterburner via Uninstall Progams in Control Panel. *SELECT NO when uninstall software asks if you want to save profiles/data*
- Deleted MSI Afterburner in Program Files directory
- Restarted PC
- Launch Origin/BF3 and play!
Kudos to maniacvvv on the evga forums for coming up with the work around. He said you can reinstall your OSD software after this, but I haven't done it yet.
Edit: BF3 just crashed again after an hour of playing... bah. This game is crap.
