OMG ! this is no joke.. ( Do not wonder about bad english.. GERMANY :D ) I think I got it !
I had the same god damn issues with my battlefield 4. the same Dx hung up thing blaaa.
I tried all the stuff you guys told each other to do/try and like nothing else to expect _ No effect -.-.
BUT !!! then I just rightclicked on the Battlefield 4 Desktop symbol ( dont know how to call it in english )
But you know, i mean the item. So then i clicked on it, in german its called "eigenschaften" ( i know sounds stupid ).
But i think in english its properties and then i saw something somewhere like "compatabilitys" . i looked after it and i saw that it was on compatibility with windows XP service pack 3 ! I thought What the heck and i turned it to Windows 7 wich is my windows that i use at the moment.
So what i did is. I went on the folder thingi " compatabilitys" changed the chosen compatability into my default windows, and i ticked the box on the left slightly above the options. wich said " start program in compatibility mode.
then i loaded the newest drivers for my GPU Nvidia GtX 780. And SNAP ! it works fine Guys.
I know how you must be angry about that game issues and i want to help you. I hope my english is good enough to understand what i was trying to tell you about my fix.
NOW I HOPE IT WORKS FOR YOU !
