Ive had both Direct X issues . The latest I've done was uninstalled Nvidia drivers, reinstalled offline with latest drivers (2X's), fixed Punkbuster and I would get BSOD (new) and still loading freezing, "BF4 has stopped working" and Nvidia driver device failed and this was yesterday morning. This has been happening on and off the past week. However when I did the Direct X files and repaired, I havnt had ANY problems since then yesterday and today in SP and in MP(no more "BF4 has stopped working...")
All I can say... this was a simple process and it'll take as long to repair however fast your CPU's
Apparently this was a beta issue too and noticed that files are
located in the Direct X folder, which from my understanding is preventing the communication.
Stable for 10 + matches. Using Firefox and IE. Knock on wood!
Go to
C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist. There only needs to be 4 files in this folder. Create a folder
and put all other 100+ files into that folder you just created but leave these 4 files alone.
1) dsetup.dll
2) dsetup32.dll
3) dxdllreg_x86
4) dxsetup
Next, do a repair install in Origin, Restart and hopefully BF4 works, some people are having success with it.
Post if it works, for others out there.

What do you mean? I see 157 files in that folder. My game is installed in E:\Games\Battlefield 4\__Installer\directx\redist

Got this error too today. Worked fine before. I did change nothing. Can't be my system of so many people have this problem!!

@coconutkreame - I tried the fix of removing those files, but when you "repair" your installation it just downloads those files again - not sure what the fix actually did?
