When playing, I get the following error:
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemovedReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG: Device hung due to badly formed commands.. GPU: "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760"
Just as I did in Beta.
Why is this still an issue and WHEN will it be fixed?
Specs:
Asus P7P55D
Intel i7 870 Lynnfield OC @ 4.0 GHz
8GB 1333MHz RAM
128GB Vertex 3 SSD
GTX 760 4GB
Only thing that fixes it is underclocking my GPU, which I refuse to accept as a viable solution. My overclocks on my gpu/cpu are stable and at cool temps running kombustor for hours with no artifacts, and ALL other games run smoothly when overclocked with NO problems. Thus, a logical conclusion would imply this is not a hardware error, but a SOFTWARE error, specific to Battlefield 4. Considering I paid over $100 for this game, I can only expect it to run properly. I have tried all other "workarounds" to this bad programming error (e.g. reinstalling DirectX, drivers, etc.) with no avail. Please fix this ASAP.
