Solved

Every time i raise my ddr4 16gb from 2666mhz to 3000mhz, game crashes.

It occurs after 3 or 4 matches, the game crashes while I'm playing.

My processor is an i7 6700K, and I'm used to play with 2666mhz and it never happens.

The ram memory is 3000mhz stock, I play downgrade to 2666 cause of the latency.

Does someone know what it is and how to fix it?

Regards.

  • @HANK_SJC yes a few spots depending on the motherboard try this page it may help you.  In my 2 game rigs I have the bios set to advanced mode to see all settings so if not done and you can in your bios do this please. With my rigs yes XMP is set but I also had to set it in my memory frequency. Pull out your mother board book and look it up and or google your M/B for how to set up ram speeds etc :]

I dont think so, cause other clocks just work fine, and the xmp profile or just the ram choose is easy to set.

Or there are others things to adjust in the bios that should be needed to adjust that i dont know..

  • @HANK_SJC No problem post back if you need more help and I will help if I can :]  I do know with my one game box with DDR4 ram it was no fun to set up and get stable even with a bios update was a full on nightmare :/ I ended up going back to my old bios and run the ram a bit slower then what it can pull off as it was just not worth the headache it gave me lol. My ram is just to fast lol....  Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 - 3600MHz - 32GB
