Getting kicked by Punkbuster for "(A1388 C2.327) - Error loading pbcl"

I keep getting kicked because of the subject's issue... also after I've tried all the punkbuster FAQ but the problems persists... However I am wondering if it is because of the Server version it is different from my Client....

As per the error message I believe the server is running the version (A1388 C2.327) and my client version is (V2.332 | A1390).

Please assist.

After update the PB of BF4 to V1.8😬A1390|C2.332

everytime I play on the internet server, I will be kick by PB showing the following message:

"PunkBuster kicked player 'XXXXXX' (for 0 minutes) ... This PB Server Requires (A1388 C2.327) - Error loading pbagding pbag"

Hey guys, I was playing fine lastnight for around 30 mins. Then tonight I was getting kicked off many servers 2 mins into the game. It said "Game Disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster.Stated Reason: PunkBuster kicked player xxx (for 0 minutes) - Visit www.evenbalance.com to manually update your PB files.

So I went to the site and updated my PB files and it currently looks like this: 

Client Version (v2.332 | A1390)

Server Version (v1.880 | A1390 | C2.332)

I have tried updating several times but it tells me I have the latest already. After a reboot, I'm still getting kicked by PB after a min or so.

Anyone getting my same problem?

Close everything.

Relog onto Origin>right click on bf4> repair install

Hi guys, thanks for your prompt response. Unfortunately, neither solution works.

After closing everything and repairing BF4, it ended up saying nothing was corrupt. Re-ran and the same problem occurred.

insmithereens: I ran pbsvc.exe in the redist folder then did the Install/Re-install option. It starts checking then I suddenly run into a "Failed to copy the file ......pbsvc.exe to C:\Windows\System32\pbsvc.exe (error 5: access is denied). If I press OK, then press Next to proceed to Step 3, I receive Tests completed successfully without error.

I tried manually copying pbsvc.exe into the system32 folder, then ran it, but found the exact same above symptons.

Any other ideas?

Did you download the pb.exe from evenbalance? Then search for BF4 in the app and install new files? make sure it is the client set.

This is what happens when you use 1990's technology today.

How is PunkBuster still here today ?

Their website looks like it hasn't even changed from the 1990's.

A bloody disappointment, waited for the game to download and now this. After 5 mins disconnected all the time.

The usual reply today will be "wait for the update", where the he** were your beta testers ?
