Had to re-install Windows 7, how can I play battlefield 3 without re-downloading it?

I had to do a clean install of Win 7 since it got corrupted. I have battlefield 3 installed on my 2nd hard drive before I did a clean install on my Windows 7 drive. Is there anyway to have Origin detect that BAttlefield is already installed on my 2nd hard drive because I really do not want to re-download 20 gb again...

  • That is easy Save the BF3 folder somewhere you are sure it is safe there

    Re-install your OS

install origin put bf3 back and you will see it ready to download

press on it then its is ready to install in the same sec

if it downloads some files it wont be big sometimes the game is corrupted and origin  downloads the fix

or origin tries to be stupid in the 2 cases you wont download Bf3 and to be sure if origin does delete that bf3 be sure to use the copy function so you always got a back up if that happens XP me if it worked

Ok it is "installing now" so I will reply again when if it works. Thanks for the reply!

EDIT: Worked flawlessly. Thanks so much. Saved me the trouble of downloading 20gb again. Cheers!
