Heavy tanks' flame-throwers do not work

When i use the flame-thrower in the heavy tank, it doesn't work. I tried all of the available solutions on the internet (holding the fire button for more than 10 seconds, re-spawning on a different tank, changing my class then re-spawn on the same tank, etc...), but non of them worked. Seeing other players using it, and being killed by one is really frustrating. However, i once read that i need to buy an air pump in order to be able to use the flame-thrower in a heavy tank, but i don't know where to find it.And yes, i did unlock the heavy tank that has a flame-thrower!P.S: the flame-thrower worked just fine only once, then it stopped working. and by the way, i noticed that when i'm occupying the fifth seat, for example, i find that number 6 is written next to my name. If i'm occupying the third seat, number 4 will be written next to my name, and so on. I hope that this little piece of information will help EA in fixing this bug.PLEASE, HELP ME 😞
I TRIED CHANGING THE CONTROLLER AND IT DID WORK!
My old controller works just fine. I use the R2 button in firing weapons and it works just fine. It even works with other games such as Fifa17.
Just try playing with a different controller and check if it works or not.
Playing as a tanker, I used to use the third weapon on the list and the flame-thrower didn't work. Five minutes ago, i used the default weapon, changed my controller, spawned on a tank, changed my seat, and the flame thrower worked! I killed myself, changed my primary weapon (the tanker one), spawned on a tank, changed my seat, and still the flame thrower worked normally. I changed my controller and used the other one, it stopped working! Then i changed my controller back and used the new one, it worked again!
Just try my steps and tell me what you think.
