Unfortunately as mentioned here, you won't be able to play Battlefield 4 if you don't have a Hard Drive on your Xbox.
There is a required installation of 2GB, that must be done on an internal Hard Drive.

I actually have 223 GB free on my xbox 360 hard drive but every time I try and play bf4 it stay loading on the main screen or the screen goes blank, is there a reason why it does that? Do I need to buy another hard drive? Please help
