I figured out how to switch controls to R1/L1 to shoot/aim

I figured it out how to get R1 and L1 to shoot/aim.... go to your ps4 Settings then go to Accessibility then Button Assignments.... Switch R2 for R1 and L2 to L1 and then Bam it works!!!!

    You can actually change this directly in the BF4 game settings!

    --> Go to Options --> Controls --> "Swap L1/R1 with L2/R2"

    So you don't have to do this changes on the PS4 controls itself, which would affect all controls on your PS4 and also other games then.

    Thank you @KillaElite420 for sharing this here. However I should add, this workaround will change your controls for the whole PlayStation 4 system and every game.

    Cheers,

    I only changed the control because my R2 on one of my controllers doesn't work for the flame thrower tank and there's a huge delay using snipers, every other gun works fine, I switch back the controls when playing other games...

    This is definitely not the most comfortable way to play. My second controller died, due to accident water procedure, and the last one in just too old, with the low battery life. Thinking of getting myself a new Dualshock 4 in green camo. Looks insanely cool IMHO.

    I want a Cinch controller, there over 200 bucks but you can program the controller to do multi actions....
  • You are a gift. I've been trying to figure this out for an hour thank u
