People on xbox one are reporting the same problem.
I was always getting the sound issue where there was no sound for the first 30 seconds of the match or so and then it seems to slide in, also on xbox one.
Ok, it has been noted. Post more details on the problem like, what game mode you wore on and what map. Give as much details as possible.

Not on PC, I play on XBOX ONE. There is no sound when you join a TDM match. This happens on every map and seems to only be in the TDM playlist. You have to play the entire round and let it finish, then when the new round starts from the beginning, all sounds are working.
Obviously this game is nearly impossible to play without sound and getting wrecked by a good team isn't fun. Especially if you are forced to keep playing them just so you can have sound the next round.
This problem started right after the latest patch. My friend has the exact same issue. Not sure how it could be a hardware issue since all XBOX ONE's are identical.
I have the same ****** problem.
The only thing i can hear ingame is loading map sound!
We cannot play without sound!
