Is Battlefield 1 going to have cross platform multiplayer in the future, because I thought I heard something about cross platform multiplayer being Battlefield 1 back in May

Can't rule out future titles getting cross-platform functionality but I can say with the upmost certainty Battlefield 1 will not (or better or worse).
Keyboards on console are an increasingly popular option for players but that comes with it's own set of balancing issues and just wouldn't be a good idea.
There are ways around it, but I think BF1 specifically has an issue with M&K affecting certain 3rd party anti-cheat barriers.
