Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about cheating. You can only summarize it as, where there is demand, there will always be someone who makes sure to fill this need.

It amazes me how fast hacks are produced. It is naive to think there won't be any at the release.
What can you do? <shrug>

I have already pre-bought the game. It has a single-player mode that I will enjoy.
I will also be playing multiplayer and see how things go. I should get a good month out of the game at least, and that will be worth the cost.

Agreed.
That is why private servers that allow kicking hackers are important.
If I confront a hacker who isn't even trying to hide the fact, I just change to another server.
I have given up the rage thing. <shrug>
That is what the trolls want, and I am not going to feed them. 😎

I don't have high hopes, the cheats will be ready for the beta test, like with previous releases. If the game is a sales success on it, then you will see cheating of proppotions you have never experienced.

On PC they definitely will, it is hard to avoid. The problem is that all it takes is one cheater on a server to ruin the experience for everyone on it

All developers face the problem with people who cheat in online modes:

On social media, you can report content that is considered illegal, and multiple reports can lead to a YouTube channel being taken down.

It is odd that kicking out hackers is not permitted on private servers. I wonder about the thinking behind something like this.

There is a 100% likelihood that the people making money off their hacks will be providing them quickly.
I wouldn't be surprised if it were available at launch, as happened with CoD years ago.

Years ago, the most popular cheats revolved around a wall hack of sorts. ESP, I think.
The people who make these hacks emphasise being discreet in their usage. I am convinced the majority use them this way.
I suspect some of the obvious hackers do so to highlight the problem and mock the anti-cheat system, but then you have the sociopaths who don't care.
There seems to be a pattern of growing hack abuse when games go on special. The recent $2 sales created an epidemic of hackers, to the degree that I gave up playing multiplayer again. If they have to pay full price, they may think twice.
