Issues launching Battlefield
I've been a big fan of the franchise for years. When ever I talk to anyone about FPS games I mention Battlefield having the best gameplay and general experience out of any FPS. I've sung this games praise for nearly a decade now. It's sad but at this point I will no longer be buying any Battlefield games until EA decides to fix Battleye. It is way too restrictive and makes trying to even play the game an exercise in frustration.
So the other day I got the itch to play an FPS and like I always do, I went to install Battlefield. Waited for the long download and then tried to run it. Secure boot is not on. Okay, that's fine. I go into BIOS, turn it on and try again. This is the point where I lost all interest in the franchise. Apparently I had some file somewhere that was triggering Battleye to give this message "This software cannot be used at the same time as the game. Please make sure it's not running, or restart your PC.: ReWASD." I don't have ReWASD Installed. So I do a bit of digging, delete all files that could be potentially triggering this, I go into processes and turn off any that could trigger this, I even go into the registry and delete any registers associated with anything made by the company.
EA, I'm done with your games and I'm telling anyone that will listen about my experience so they stay far away from your products. This is absolutely ridiculous.
