You don't give much information. Anyways, here's my list of universal solutions that solve most problems. I've highlighted the most relevant things to try. Hope that helps.
Post better:
- Please write descriptive (also the subject line) so the right people find your question and knows what it contain
- Have it worked before? When did it start not working and what did you do just before that?
- Post relevant log files, screenshots, descriptions, dxdiag, exact error messages, and all other relevant information(like platform) - even if it's stupid and obvious (there's a lot of clueless people on the internet ;-) )
-Tell what you have tried and how you did it and what the results are, in DETAIL!
Check for current outages and bugs:
- Check the Battlefield server status: ( http://www.ea.com/servers/battlefield3 )
- Check the Origin server status: http://www.origin.com/us/status
- Check News and Official Announcements on Battlelog for outages and current problems
Common questions:
- Banned? Read this: ( https://help.ea.com/in/article/information-about-banned-or-suspended-accounts )
- Veteran status / M1911 pistol / Gun Club: The Gun Club is gone and now requires a veteran status to obtain, this is gained from playing other Battlefield games. Play4Free, Heroes and 1942 is free to download and play and each give a veteran rank. Other games can be registrered at http://www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com/veteran. If that doesn't work contact EA support.
- How to contact EA? Go to https://help.ea.com/contact-us . Fill in keywords then product, category and platform. Press 'Find Solutions' --> 'I Still Need Help'. Contact options will appear. If live chat/phone does not appear, it might be closed in your area at the moment and you might consider changing it to: 'United States' or something else in the language selector in the bottom of the site.
- Can't access DLC/Premium? To find and handle your DLC right-click your game in Origin and click 'show game details' and scroll down to 'expansions'
Common mistakes:
- Can't find your game? Make sure you have bought BF3: Premium Edition and not just Premium.
- EA ANSWER ME!! Answers HQ is a place where users help fellow users, not a place where you can contact EA.

Hi Carbonic. Thanks for your reply.
I have not had BF3 for very long, but when I first ran it, I had no problems getting to the website and further connecting to games. This last weekend was the first time I have seen the problem. On the website, I can see the servers and run the filters to narrow down to games, so I don't thing I have a generic issue with getting onto the web (My speedtest is 33Megs download and 2.5Megs upload). It is only after I click on a game server and then "Join Server" where the trouble begins. The messages that stream by indicate things like "connecting to the server", "initializing", "logging in", and finally "loading" with a little blue flashing box.
Perhaps I am just impatient, but usually when a game does load, it is only a delay of about 15 seconds at most before the screen goes dark for a second or two followed by the deploy screen. When I run into the trouble loading, the file never seems to load and I never get to the dark screen/deploy screen. There does not seem to be an indicator showing file load progress so I have very little to go on as to what is happening.
I can click the "X" next to the "Loading" line and it then asks me if I am sure, that I will quit loading. Upon clicking the OK button, I end back at the main screen where I again can search for another server using the filters. Sometimes rebooting may help, but not always.
I am running Windows 7, Home Premium, 64 bit with 8G of RAM. Processor is i7-4770 running 3.4GHz. It is a pretty new computer so I am fairly certain I meet all the system requirements.
I will try checking the server status next time, but would think the fact it connects and logs in means the server is up and running.
Any help you can give is greatly appreciated as playing is more fun that watching a blinking blue box.

OP do you ever get to the server loading screen or just the battlelog loading screen where the square says loading? I've noticed that when I switched browsers from IE to Firefix the game will contact the server but will not minimize until I click on the BF3 icon in the task bar next to the origin icon. When I click it the game maximized and then goes to the server loading screeen and I join the server as normal. In IE the game maximizes by itself and joins the server so look at our task bar next time you try to join a server.
