lots of "Game disconnected: you were kicked from the game" - no other explanation

Now I have found some unranked servers with no Punkbuster and Fairfight and they let me stay on for as long as i liked.

Is it possible I have been blacklisted by Fairfight or Punkbuster how would i know. I know that in the last 48 hours I have attempted to get onto dozens of times, to these unsuccesful attepmts count against me?

Just a one off situation haven't been able to recreate

Still having problems with this but only when using the new Graphics card. Now I have tried...

-Reinstalling the VC redistrituble

-Rolling back to non-beta AMD drivers

-Deleating eveything in %temp%

Still have my ticket open in Puinkbuster (on note #14) but servers with punkbuster disabled wont let me on either.

Punkbuster Log files show PnkbstrA service working OK but no sign of  PnkbstrB it never activates. It may not have time as I dont get to the deploy screen.

The Error mesage always comes up at the "Transitioning" stage of loading.

I appriciate the issue seems to be with the Graphics card but it works on plenty of other games including BF3.

Specs

Intel Core Duo 3.2

4Gb Ram

AMD Sapphire HD7850 2Gb

Windows 8.1 64bit

Heres hoping someone is listening

Now managed to capture the problem on video, anyone else get this?

BF4 Error Vid

after a few weeks of talking to even balance who produce punkbuster, they don't belived its thie issue link here

even balance trouble ticket http://www.evenbalance.com/troubleticket/update_ticket.php?ticketnumber=EB6349000714036&password=cfd001aa2f2e414e327fb6a155eea4&special_message=new_ticket

Now I have upgraded the RAM to 8Gb to see if it helps... it doesn't

I have had the occasioanal connection during many tests and various but nothing I could recreate. proabbly beenon about 3 time inthe last month of trying.

Now in the EA support system been though the live Chat partand have been told its a connection issue and a specialist will contact me.

Holds breath

Have now done a complete Windows 8.1 reinstall but have not solved the problem

i have EXACTLY the same issue. also have nearly same pc as you... croe2duo, 4gb ram, and AMD-ATI....

i was able to play in windows 7. but in windows 8.1 i always get the disconnect after the loading screen. after loading the screen goes black(with cursor on top right) and stays for a few second, then quits. in windows 7 that black screen with cursor only shows for a fraction of a second and im in. i know if i see this black screen longer then 1 second it will not work.

i always did clean istall of win 7 and 8.1 (no upgrade). i reinstalled 8.1 about 3 times.. never had luck.. on win 7 its working just you know.

ocasionally i manage to get on servers ()in 8.1).. i would say 1 out of 20 tries? which i also find rather strange.

thanks for the tip to try unranked servers without PB/FF. i also can stay on server without PB. thats very interesting news for my situation.

conclusion? its AMD-ATI card/drivers/software in combination with 8.1?

or some 8.1 feature **bleep**ing up network communication?

im really lost with this.
all hope on mantle.

and thats really sad situation 😉

correction. i can not join every time on PB disabled servers...

your sound also hangs/loops at end of loading screen?

Yes, the sound loop is there as well, but I figure that is just a side effect. It is interesting to hear you say Windows 7 will solve the issue (I wonder if windows 8.0 would), but I'm not sure I have the option to go back, and with a low spec the reduced overheads of Windows 8.1 as well as other nice features I would prefer to solve the issue another way.

To confirm swapping to the Nvidia card solves the issue, and I could not reliably connect to non-punkbuster servers. It was just a fluke, I have had a bout 3 fluky connections with no connection

.

Its nice to hear someones else has the same issue, not that I wish it on anyone but with the large amount common bugs, these obscure ones get lost. I will of course post here if I find a reliable solution.

After the patch I was connected to a 28 man server running Rouge tranmission and I thought the issue was sorted but it logged off and tried another with no successs, then later on that evening I connected to a Goldman Railway map with about 10 players and was able to play till the map changed these occasion successes are hartbreaking.
