Menu is black - NO imagines are loading

I just recently got this game on Xbox Gamepass with EA Play, I downloaded the new launcher and I installed the game. I play through the prologue and when I try to play multiplayer it says I need to install an interface update. Once I install it the menus background becomes black and I can't see any pictures. The game works fine other than that. I've deleted the Battlefield 1 folder in documents and the twinkle file specifically and neither of which have fixed my problem.

Same issue here.
Tried deleting the folder in my documents, I changed the download location on the EA Desktop app to my other hard drive (where BF1 is installed) and still the same issue.
BF1 keeps re-creating the folder in my C Drive my documents and the issue keeps repeating.

I'm having this same exact issue.I have changed where the game is installed and tried to re-install it. it looks like the main menu graphics are there but really dark. I opened a battleback and i could faintly make out the animation.  I also cannot quit the game normally because all of the buttons on the left side have disappeared

Can you try clearing Origin Cache?

Make sure you're fully closed out of Origin, including Task Manager, and try these steps:

Then run Origin as Administrator, and try re-launching the game.

Are you running any other Apps, besides EA Play?

When i frist lauched the game, it said "An update is needed." i did that update but everything bugged and the background became black and i could only see the white writings of the menù.
Also when i invite someone i can't close the invite menù.

i searched some solutions around the web, unistalling does not work, it's not a game option, moving the document files to the same folder does not work.

i have no idea what to do. 

Hey, @Wildocado make sure that all drivers for windows are up to date, also worth reinstalling the GPU drivers for your PC.

You can also try to do a clean boot to see if there any programs messing with Battlefield 1 and turn off any overlay programs for example Discord or Nvidia experience.

Can you add a Dxdiag so we can see what hardware and drivers you have?

Ive been having this issue after the update as well, games work just fine at good fps, etc. However opening battlepacks, choosing gamemodes, and receiving XP after a game are all blacked out. 

You can see on the picture that not everything is blacked out.
