Try to delete config file of game in: This PC>>Documents>> Battlefield 1>> Settings and delete PROFSAVE_profile file. Then, please reinstall or update driver for your graphics card and reboot your PC.
If you still experience difficulties with this, try the following: Go to Documents>> Battlefield 1>> Settings and please open PROFSAVE_profile file via WorldPad and find this line: GstRender.FullscreenEnabled you need to change a value from 0 to 1 (GstRender.FullscreenEnabled 1) and save.

I did exactly what you told me to do, but it didn't do anything. The game boots up then turns off my monitor, turns it back on and I just see black and the bf1 cursor. This only happens in Bf1 I don't know what the problem is, if it's my monitor or just some weird bug.

@Goodlifeway What are your PC specs and OS? Do you get any error codes or messages or does the screen just go blank?

OS: Windows 7 ultimate
Processor: Intel Core i5 6500 3.2 GHz 6Mb
Memory: 8gb of ram
Graphics card: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 1060 WF OC 6GB
Card is directx 12 compatible
200 mbps internet connection
400 gb of free space in hardrive
I get no error codes or messages, as I said it just turns off the monitor then turns it back on. After that all I see is the in game cursor and I can also hear the in game music

@Goodlifeway The thing that jumps out at me first is that your processor is just below the minimum required to run BF1 which may be a contributing factor in your full screen issue and most likely one of the reasons behind the stutter. You can see how your processor stacks up against the minimum required processor for BF1 here: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-6600K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-6500 In addition to your CPU being below specs your RAM is at the minimum specs and most of the people experiencing issues here seem to have 8GB of RAM.
Have you tried disabling Origin in game in both the Origin application settings and under the BF1 game settings in Origin yet? Are you using the in game video settings or allowing GeForce Experience to set the graphics settings for BF1?
I've heard that disabling Shadow Play helps some people with Stuttering. Also if you have MSI afterburner or team viewer try turning that off as they are known to create issues with BF games as wel.
