MSAA related visual error[s]..?
Hello there... recently i have noticed some [new?] graphical/visual errors that seem to be related to the msaa option in Battlefield 3. in particular the presence of an almost overpowering "fog", or haze, that seems to appear more inside structures than outside - or at the least is more visible and/or noticeable inside - only when MSAA is "ON". it doesnt make any difference whether i set it to 2x or 4x, with the setting completely OFF the 'error' goes away, with it ON at any level/setting, there it is - everywhere... there also seems to be some issues with shadowing, particularly underneath and around cars for some reason, where the shadows are not only much darker than they should rightfully be, but they also seem to cut through every other effect; ie particle[s] blowing through the air dont seem to pass in front of the dark shadows, etc...
obviously i would like to play the game at the maximum playable settings for my hardware - i didnt get this game to play it on low settings @1000fps or something, you know..? i have had the shadow related errors on multiple driver sets, while the fog/haze seems to be a new edition issue. whether its driver-based or engine-based i do not know at this point. any ideas? other instances of similar issues? for what its worth, it seems to be more of an issue in the single player campaign than the online component[s]. i have a few screen shots if there is someplace to upload or send as an attachment i will be glad to help. also dxdiag files or whatever - please let me know.
thanks for any help anyone can provide...
