Please bring back Battlefield 1943

It's been almost 2 years since the servers were taken offline and there has been no game like it since. 

Drop in/drop out with rock, paper, siccors weapon mechanics, no level up advantages, and arcade style gameplay.

All EA would have to do is upgrade the textures and they could sell it for $40. Heck if EA really wanted to milk this is could just port the 3 original maps and release it as free to play but then sell DLC for more maps and game modes (though if done incorrectly it could hurt the game). 

I still have the game saved on my ps3, 360, and Series X in hopes that the servers might get turned back on someday. Even the r/battlefield1943 sub reddit is still active.

    Like, how stupid is EA, seriously, to kill this game, the first ever with destruction, so simple yet so epic, and yet still keep BF3 servers up or even worse BF Hardline servers running, hundreds of empty servers, anyone can see. But EA, a billion dollar company, can't keep 2-4 servers up in perpetuity for 1943 or BC2... 

    Even rent a server! I'll pay! We'll pay!

    What is wrong with you people?!

    The only saving grace I can say is that EA was in a terrible time when they shut the servers down dealing with 2042 and trying to push people into that terrible game and thinking that Battlefield was basically a failure... 

    If EA was really this epic company that they claim to be, too big to fail, then keeping four servers running should be an easy flex 🤷🏿‍♀️👌🏿✅💯🏴‍☠️🚬

    But yet here we are 😤

    It's hard to believe this could happen any time soon. We've recently had both a World War I and a World War II game. Maybe at some point in the future, but even then it's unlikely to see major success, especially considering it was a console-exclusive title which would limit interest from the large PC gaming community.

    In this day of HD remakes, it is not a hard ask for an HD remake or even a Battlefield Collection for the other games that got taken down.

    Hello Ultrasuperman100​,

    There comes a time in every game’s lifecycle when it makes sense to remove it from online stores. We refer to this process as "sunsetting." Battlefield 1943 will not be coming back.
