    As this issue seems to have been resolved with new drivers I'll mark this thread as solved now.

I have heard back from EA people several times that they are working on it. Also received a thanks for all the information provided in this thread.

But yes, I think they should have mentioned it on their "most important problems" list and done more to fix it too.

As it isn't on their important problems, it just shows that they are just giving lip service
